There are many ways to pay for website traffic, and there are many ways that are free that can work very well. Promoting your website your self is one of the best ways to gain free website traffic. Add a link to your website, direct from your own personal e-mail. This is simply a matter of putting a signature at the bottom. You'll be able to add your name, your business name and your URL as well as possibly phone numbers or your actual physical address. It's easy for friends, business associates and new contacts to find your website via an e-mail link. A signature at the bottom is an easy way for those when you send e-mails to take advantage of the clickable link at the bottom of your personal e-mail. Within your business, you probably send out quite a few e-mails a day, and this is a great way to increase your website traffic.

Once your website is up and ready without bugs, untraceable links, or links going to no where it's time to start posting your URL in easy to find places on the net. Don't start promoting your website before it's up and ready, this can only cause frustration and give you a bad name. When you post your link, make sure that your posting a bit of information with it that is pertinent to your website and interesting to those who want to visit. Make sure that you have a contact area within your website so that those who are interested can easily contact you for questions, comments, or even to ask for more information.

Free classifieds are a great way if you can put a clickable link in that sends people direct to your website. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to post a link and a bit of information about your website and it's all for free. Consumers peruse Classifieds on a regular basis looking for good deals, and your website needs to be there. Take an automotive website, posting in the automotive section in the free classifieds can allow you to offer them something like tips or advice on buying cars and trucks, buying used cars, or even how to save on gas. Pertinent links with valuable information are much more clickable than those that just state the website

You may also want to submit your website to searchable engines, make sure that your website is keyword optimized and then add your link to search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Ask and many others. There are people who can help you do this, but it'll cost you money. But the advertising is freeze to death don't have time to optimize your website and get more website traffic via free online resources, perhaps. You can pay someone who does have the time.
